Role · Operations Director

Recognition at every outlet, from one record.

Recognition at every outlet, from one record.

The situation

Operations is judged on whether the house recognises a guest at the desk, the bar, the spa and the restaurant. Each of those outlets already has a system that can look someone up. The guest has usually answered the same questions before.

The team keeps those systems. Nobody is asking operations to stand up a new console. The ask is that the person who just walked in is the same person the house already knows.

What breaks

Five systems give five answers. The spa has yesterday’s booking. The point of sale has last night’s spend under a different spelling. The desk has a reservation card that never saw the dietary note. The guest is asked again, or the house guesses.

That is not a training problem. Those tools were never built to share a person. Each one keyed the record for its own job. Recognition becomes a vote between products, and the guest hears the argument.

What the Master Profile changes

Casa Layer reconciles those fragments into one Master Profile per real guest. Visit history, preferences, spend and notes sit in one place, updated as new stays and transactions come in. The Master Profile sits above your systems rather than inside one of them.

Casa Layer builds that record and holds it. We sell none of the applications it feeds, so there is nothing here for it to be locked into. The desk, the bar and the spa keep the tools they already use. Context surfaces beside those systems rather than asking the team to learn a sixth one.

You decide what Casa Layer can do in each system, under credentials you issue and can revoke. Every connection live today reads only. Casa Layer does the connection work, so operations does not have to stand up a data team to make the outlets agree.

Who reads it

  • The desk
  • The outlets
  • Concierge assistant

The people who greet the guest. At check-in, the Master Profile puts who they are and what the house already knows in front of the desk. The same record is available to the outlets over the open REST API, and to any agent over the MCP server, so a concierge assistant is not working from a different person than the spa.

Context beside the systems those teams already use.

Systems

Vendor names here are the systems Casa Layer connects to, not customers. The page is the job. The directory is the list.
