Guest identity resolution
The process of matching and merging fragmented guest records across hotel systems into one authoritative profile.
Hotel master profile
One durable record per real guest across hotel systems. In existing software the same phrase usually means a company parent in a sales-account hierarchy, or a guest profile inside one PMS.
Hotel semantic layer
A shared business representation of hotel data. It defines what guests, reservations, stays and folios mean. It does not decide which records belong to the same person.
